Our Origin Story
Forged by Necessity
Our founder’s journey began out of necessity and passion. After years of dealing with chronic pain and surgery, she sought new hobbies that could accommodate her lifestyle. Animal rescue, cooking, and eventually exploring traditional healing remedies became her passions. It was during this journey that she discovered tallow—a nutrient-rich fat once used by our ancestors for cooking and skincare.
The founder’s experimentation with tallow began in her own kitchen after rendering beef suet to create her own tallow. While she didn’t enjoy cooking with it, she soon discovered its value in skincare. From there, she dove deep into learning how to make soaps, body butters, and salves, all based on traditional methods using natural ingredients.
Her story is one of trial, error, and determination. Despite her lack of formal business experience, she took the leap into creating her own brand after friends and family encouraged her to sell the products she had been making. What started as a personal passion became a mission to share these nourishing, natural remedies with the world.

We aim to create products that nourish and heal without relying on chemicals or synthetic ingredients. Our mission is to bring back the simplicity of traditional skincare, making it accessible to everyone—from the rugged rancher to the conscientious consumer.
